<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide actions of an upright piano that can stabilize the back-stop position of a hammer with simple constitution, regardless of the key hitting strength, and without changing the sensation of touch on a key. <P>SOLUTION: Disclosed is the action 1 of an upright piano which operates as a key is depressed to make a hammer 3 turn to hit the wires, the action 1 equipped with a wippen 6, which is knocked up by the key 4 when the key is depressed to turn; a jack 7 which knocks up the hammer 3 as the key is depressed to turn it, a regulating button 13 which make the jack 7 turn, with respect to the wippen 6 during the turning of the hammer 3 to make the jack 7 leave a pad 20, and a back check 9, which has a locking surface 19b facing a catcher 23 in a key removed state and a stopper portion 19c protruding toward the catcher 23 and locks the hammer 3 in return rotation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
