<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card connector in which the assembly manufacturers can cope with a single kind of screw, without changing the length of the screw for fixing the substrate and the card connector, when the card connector put on in multiple steps is used in either case as one slot only, that is, as a single card connector, or as two slots, that is, where two card connectors are used. <P>SOLUTION: In a connector 102 to be connected to a connecting object 50, the connector has a contact and a housing 30 for supporting the contact, and the housing 30 has a support part 23 to be supported to the connecting object 50, and the support part 23 has a fitting member 2 for fixing the connector 102 to the connecting object 50. The fitting member 2 has a substantially U-shape, and thread parts 2a, 2b are cut at each of the U-shape parts, and one of the U-shape parts is used for screwing to fix the connector 102 to the connecting object 50; and the other of the U-shape parts is used for screwing to fix the connector 103 using as two-steps, thereby it is used for detachably supporting the other connector. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
