PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize an air conditioner by mounting a fan unit for ventilation in an indoor unit, and to inhibit dew condensation in air ducts and the fan unit in the indoor unit. SOLUTION: In this air conditioner, a refrigerant pipe 2 from the indoor unit 1 is led to the outdoors through a hole 4 of a building, and is connected with an outdoor unit 3, the air ducts 23, 24 are inserted into the hole of the building, and the fan units 21, 70 for ventilation mounted inside of the indoor unit are connected with the air ducts. Further a control means 46 is mounted to control and stop an air supply operation of the fan units for ventilation, when a dew point temperature determined from outside air temperature and outdoor humidity is higher than a room temperature during a cooling operation of a room.
