PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem, wherein the york of a drive means for driving a light-shielding member by receiving magnetic drive force from a magnetic circuit affects a reduction in the thickness of a light quantity adjusting device. SOLUTION: A shutter blade 2 and a diaphragm blade 4 are rotatably mounted on a base member 1, having an opening 2 made in it. The base member also serves as functions of a yoke, which constitutes the magnetic circuit of a drive device, using a magnet rotor used to drive the shutter blade 2 and the diaphragm blade 4.
