PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing device capable of correctively grasping the quantity of waste ink and displaying warning on the full of a waste ink tank at a correct timing. SOLUTION: The printing device is provided with a means for detecting the temperature and humidity of the environment where the printing device is set, a means for calculating the quantity of waste ink by changing the evaporation coefficient for calculating the quantity of the waste ink tank using the detected temperature information, a means for storing the date and time when the printing device is used last, and a means for obtaining the current date and time.
