PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate uneven density resulting from temporary interruption in the way of image formation by multipass system which occurs especially when long output printing is performed in so-called multipass recording system. SOLUTION: With regard to uneven density resulting from temporary interruption, intention of the operator or the user of a printer is reflected on the positional selection of a print region where uneven density occurs.
