PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for the stator of a rotary electric machine, wherein a stator core can be prevented without fail from being shifted from its normal position, due to the resin-molding pressure at resin molding. SOLUTION: In the manufacturing method for the stator of the rotary electric machine, resin molding is carried out by placing the stator core 5 with coil 6, obtained by winding coils 6 on the periphery of the stator core 5, in a stator molding container 30, and injecting heated molten resin into the stator molding container 30 and integrating them. Projections 5a and 5b are formed on the surface of the stator core 5, and recesses 30a and 3b to be fit onto the projections 5a and 5b are formed in the stator molding container 30. When the stator core 5 is placed in the stator molding container 20, resin is injected with the stator core 5 positioned in the container by the recesses and projections, and resin is injected.
