PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molded motor manufacturing method that enables smooth insertion of a stator into a core metal of a mold, when performing mold forming. SOLUTION: Stepped portions 36 are provided that support stator iron cores 16 at the outside circumferential portion of the metal core 34 of the mold, used when molding the stator 30 of a molded motor 10. Insertion grooves 38 are provided on these stepped portions 36 at equal intervals, and support portions 22 bulged due to windings 36 are inserted into these insertion grooves 38.
