PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformize the brightness of a screen and suppress the leakage of images. SOLUTION: The directional display apparatus is provided with a horizontally arranged screen 1 and a plurality of image projectors 4 for projecting images for respective users from respective different directions underneath the screen 1. The screen 1 is a directional diffusion plate where the exit angle of the light is uniquely decided, depending on the incident angle of the light; and regarding the directional diffusion plate, a plurality of transparent partial spherical projections are formed planarly on a transparent support plate.
