摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the reliability of a liquid crystal drive apparatus and selection flexibility of a drive element and a liquid crystal, by reducing the voltage applied on a transistor (TFT) of the liquid crystal display (LCD) device for performing active driving. SOLUTION: In the LCD apparatus of the active driving, in which a liquid crystal driving voltage is applied to a liquid crystal layer between a common electrode and a pixel electrode and polarity of the voltage (Vcom) of the common electrode is periodically inverted, before the voltage (Vcom) of the common electrode is inverted, the voltage (Ved) of the pixel electrode has the same polarity that of as the polarity of the voltage of the common electrode, before it is inverted and is changed to a predetermined voltage which satisfies 0≤¾Ved¾≤2¾Vcom¾.
