Electrical card connector

An electrical card connector ( 1 ) for receiving an electrical card ( 100 ) includes a longitudinal insulative housing ( 10 ) and a plurality of conductive contacts ( 20 ) received in the insulative housing. Each contact includes a contact portion ( 204 ) projecting beyond the insulative housing. The electrical card is pressed to contact with the conductive contacts. A holding piece ( 30 ) is received in a rear portion of the insulative housing and provided for holding the electrical card.
