<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club head provided with a part for which metal members of different thicknesses are welded by plasma welding, laser welding or electron beam welding without the need of precisely machining the metal members beforehand so as not to generate a gap between the metal members at the time of welding. <P>SOLUTION: At the time of producing the golf club head by welding the metal members of different thicknesses, a head body 14 and a face member 16 for instance, the head body and the face member are welded by plasma welding, laser welding or electron beam welding while filling the gap between them by a different metal material 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
