<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for processing Japanese radish by which homogeneous and highly qualified cooked Japanese radish can be produced regardless of the shape of a Japanese radish when harvested, and frozen Japanese radish reduced in weight and transferring costs can be offered to the market. <P>SOLUTION: The method for processing Japanese radish comprises the following procedure: appropriately eliminating unnecessary parts or skin parts of cut pieces of Japanese radish 1, 1, ...; freezing the Japanese radish whole or arbitrarily cut; boiling the frozen Japanese radish for a prescribed time followed by uniformly cutting the rapidly frozen Japanese radish in a desired shape; draining liquid from the radish with a centrifugal separator while putting the cut pieces of the Japanese radish in a fiber net 2 followed by transforming the net to a rotary dryer to dry them to a prescribed drying degree; naturally cooling the dried radish; and encapsulating the radish again in each of prescribed hermetically sealed containers 3 to freezing again for frozen storage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
