GASEOUS FUEL FEEDER TO ENERGY GENERATING UNIT FOR VESSEL FOR LIQUEFIED GAS TRANSPORTATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gaseous fuel feeder to an energy generating unit for a vessel for liquefied gas transportation. SOLUTION: This device is for feeding gaseous fuel from content in at least one cargo tank 2 in the vessel to the energy generating unit 1 in a liquefied gas transporter. It includes at least one compressor 6 having an inflow port to suck gas phase gas from the tank 2. An outflow port from the compressor 6 is connected to a feed manifold 7 in the energy generating unit 1. The device further includes a pump 8 connected to an inflow port of an evaporator 9 settled at a bottom part of the tank 2. An outflow port from the evaporator 9 is connected through a feed pipe 10 to the feed manifold 7 in the energy generating unit 1. The pump 8 feeds liquefied gas to the evaporator 9 at higher pressure than feed pressure of the unit 1. On the feed pipe 10, a regulation means 12 for regulating flow of gas supplied to the feed manifold 7 is installed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
