PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable pulse-reflection-type laser ranging system having high reliability to disturbances. SOLUTION: The portable pulsed laser ranging system 1 is provided with both an algorithm part 3 controlled by a microcontroller 2 for computing the distance X to an object 4 to be measured on the basis of a time differenceτbetween measuring pulses 6 and reference pulses 7 and a superimposition module 5 for computing time differencesτamong a plurality of repetition pulse trains. The superimposition module 5 periodically performs superposition at a trigger frequency f<SB>TRIGGER</SB>. The trigger frequency f<SB>TRIGGER</SB>is made present within a frequency band of inequality 1 (wherein, m=1, 2, 3, etc.) every time a disturbance frequency f<SB>STOR</SB>is equal to 100-120 Hz.
