摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic image forming method, in which a cleaning blade is free of scratching and toner sticking even after printing on many sheets, and by which a high-quality toner image having no fogging, high density, proper sharpness and without black spots, and to provide an electrophotographic image forming apparatus and a process cartridge. SOLUTION: In the electrophotographic image forming method for forming an image through a step of charging an electrophotographic photoreceptor; a step of forming an electrostatic latent image, by exposing the charged electrophotographic photoreceptor; a step of forming a toner image, by developing the electrostatic latent image with a toner-containing developer; and a step of transferring the toner image to a recording material, the photoreceptor has an intermediate layer, comprising inorganic fine particles, having a number average primary particle diameter of 5-300 nm and a binder between a conductive substrate and at least a photosensitive layer, the intermediate layer is covered with an uppermost layer, and the toner is a spherical toner having average circularity of 0.970-0.999.
