PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing apparatus for a bulb which apparatus allows a filling material to be dropped into a bulb stably without a timing gap, and prevents the inflow of an impure gas to offer the bulb having a stable quality. SOLUTION: The manufacturing apparatus has a sealing mechanism 1 including a filling material lead-in passage 4 along which the filling material 3 is lead in, a filling material locking part 5 on which the filling material 3 is locked, and a filling material lead-out passage 6 along which the filling material 3 is led out, the passages 4, locker 5, and passage 6 being formed in the order of top to bottom. The sealing mechanism 1 comprises a stopper traveling passage 7 which includes the filling material locker 5 and extends diagonally upward therefrom, a ball stopper 9 which is made of a metal material and is arranged to be movable in the stopper traveling passage 7, and a magnet 10 for moving the ball stopper 9.
