PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an audio reproduction system that enables a musical piece to be recorded, even from a client device and can easily select a musical instrument to be reproduced by the client device, and to limit the reproduction. SOLUTION: The audio reproduction system 1 can record audio data reproduced by an audio client 3 on an audio server 2 via a network. Further, the audio client 3 transmits transmission source information when transmitting audio data of the musical piece. Furthermore, publicity information, specifying the audio client 3 to which the musical piece is made open, can be set. The audio client 3 requests the audio server 2 to distribute a list of currently distributable musical pieces and a list of musical pieces recorded from the audio client 3 and can receive the specified musical piece lists.
