PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling storage with a defrosting chamber capable of setting a temperature in the defrosting chamber to a refrigerating temperature or a chilling temperature by supplying cold air to the defrosting chamber with priority after defrosting. SOLUTION: This cooling storage comprises the defrosting chamber 13, cooling chambers 12, 16, an evaporator 14 for producing cold air, a cold air passage 15 for circulating the cold air, a cold air passage 21 of the cooling chamber for communicating the cold air passage 15 with the cooling chambers 12, 16, a cold air passage 20 of the defrosting chamber for communicating the cold air passage 15 and the defrosting chamber 13, a damper 33 of the defrosting chamber for opening and closing the cold air passage 61 of the defrosting chamber, a damper 32 of the cooling chambers mounted on a branch portion 22 for branching the cold air passage 15 into the cold air passage 21 of the cooling chamber and the cold air passage 20 of the defrosting chamber, or the cold air passage 21 of the cooling chamber, and a control device for keeping the damper 33 of the defrosting chamber in an opened state and the damper 32 of the cooling chamber in a closed state after termination of defrosting.
