PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deformation of an outer ring raceway track caused by matching of both of divided outer rings by preventing both of divided outer rings from deforming in the other part other than a matching part. SOLUTION: In this outer ring 10 for the half-split bearing composed of two substantially semi-cylindrical divided outer rings 12, 14 and formed by matching them in their matching parts 12a, 14a, damper members 16a, 16b for suppressing transmission of vibration of the divided outer rings 12, 14 to an inside diameter face of a housing member fitted into outside diameter faces of the divided outer rings 12, 14 are provided on the outside diameter faces of the divided outer rings 12, 14.
