<p>Disclosed is a magnetizing method for permanent magnets wherein a magnetic field-applying means for magnetization is arranged near a permanent magnet as the object to be magnetized, and a magnetic filed for magnetization is continuously applied to the object by the magnetic field-applying means while decreasing the temperature of the object from a temperature not lower than the Curie point thereof to a temperature lower than the Curie point.</p>
