<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer electrolyte containing the product of hardening reaction between a sulphonated poly(ether ketone ketone) and a cross linking agent, its manufacturing method, and a fuel cell adopted the polymer electrolyte. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell is manufactured by using the polymer electrolyte, and its manufacturing method. The polymer electrolyte has a proton conductivity value similar to PBI at high temperature while keeping a high thermal property and mechanical property that of sulphonated poly(ether ketone ketone), and a high ionic conductivity at high temperature and non humidified condition. The polymer electrolyte film excellent in oxidation stability is useful as the electrolyte film for direct methanol fuel cells. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
