<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horizontal multi-stage press apparatus for a separator of a fuel cell, which apparatus has a compact configuration by suppressing the height of the body of the press apparatus through improvement of a conventional multi-stage press apparatus for the separator of the fuel cell which has a large sized configuration including a mounting and dismounting apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: At least three or more thermoforming plates 21, 23, 25 having opposed surfaces 20, 22, 24, which have a forming surface 27 with undulated portions formed thereon and are arranged in the longitudinal direction, are arranged in the horizontal direction in parallel. Further, there are provided a press mechanism 15 for pressing the thermoforming plates 21, 23, 25 in the horizontal direction, and a resin plate positioning mechanism for positioning a resin plate P for the fuel cell separator with respect to the forming surface 27 of the thermoforming plates 21, 23, 25. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
