<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set an operation time in a power-saving state to a printer with a prescribed period as a target to perform power-saving control of the printer. <P>SOLUTION: In a configuration wherein a management server and a plurality of printers are connected via a network, the management server manages power-saving operation of the printer within the prescribed period.
