<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate time for switching paper paths and time for initial operation of a stapler so that the printing speed can be increased, even when non-staple printing and staple printing are alternately carried out, by feeding paper by the same paper paths for non-staple printing and staple printing. <P>SOLUTION: A printer controller transmits the instruction of staple printing to a post-processing device through a printer engine, even at on-staple printing, and temporarily stores the paper, in an intermediate tray, and then by canceling the stapling, the paper is discharged to a loading tray via the same path, as in the staple printing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
