<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic wave heating composition that is used as a railroad tie material, a slope-covering material, a material for water-distributing pipe or covering pipe thereof, wall material of water tank and a ceramic material. <P>SOLUTION: The composition is obtained by cohering a ferritic inorganic granular substance or a crushed substance with a binder that is a hydraulic inorganic material, or synthetic resin and/or gum and/or asphalt, or a ceramic raw material. On irradiation of the composition with electromagnetic waves, the ferritic inorganic material generates heat, thereby, the composition is heated quickly. On heating a modification electric furnace oxidizing slag granular substance or the crushed substance with the electromagnetic waves, the composition can be heated widely and quickly and is heated in a non-contact manner, without having to wire a Nichrome wire, etc., so that the heating structure for a railroad tie, etc. can be made simple. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
