PATH CONTROL SYSTEM, PATH CONTROL METHOD, AND PROGRAM FOR THE METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a path control system in a packet switched network for transmitting a packet having the same destination address to a destination via a different transmission path, and to provide a path control method and a program for the path control method.

SOLUTION: The path control system 10 comprises a means 40 for securing an unused IP address in a network by allowing an edge node 26 to transmit a request for transmitting a packet in a specified transmission path, a means 28 for selecting a packet to be transmitted in the specified transmission path, a means 36 for analyzing the selected packet and substituting it with an unused IP address for securing a destination IP address, and a means 38 for transmitting the substituted packet to other specified nodes.
