PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To record information utilized for retrieval together with contents data to an optical disk. SOLUTION: Data recorded in the optical disk comprises at least a contents data main body, and scene addition information for making an external display device display the prescribed menu screen in a reproducing device. The scene addition information is information constituted of information indicating the IN point and the OUT point of the scene for each scene being the basic unit of the retrieval, and a pair of a retrieving key and a value. Also, a plurality of the pairs of the key and the value can be defined. That is, the scene addition information having data structure in which information indicating the IN point and the OUT point of the scene and information for each scene where the plurality of the pairs of the key and the value are defined are included by the number of scenes are recorded in the optical disk together with contents data.
