<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magneto-optical sensor for estimating a parameter selected from a group comprising a current, a magnetic field and a combination thereof. <P>SOLUTION: A system for estimating the parameter selected from the group comprising the current, the magnetic field and the combination thereof is provided with a resonance frequency synchronization magneto-optical loop resonator 10, the loop resonator includes a magneto-optical sensor element 12 coupled to an optical waveguide 14, and the loop resonator receives a light signal serving as an origin from a wide band light signal source 20 to supply a modulation signal for expressing the estimated parameter. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
