<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a printing operation of a printing head from stopping depending on kinds of a host interface and of a protocol, and to decrease unevenness of the printing, in a printing system in which a host computer and a printing apparatus are connected. <P>SOLUTION: To perform the operation so as to control a printing speed depending on the kinds of the host interface and the protocol of LAN, the printing speed is controlled by changing a head moving speed, a paper carrying speed and a printing direction, and the printing is made possible without stopping the printing head even when speeds of the host interface and the protocol are slow. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
