<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gel-form composition that is gel having excellent usability and can retain the gel structure even in the presence of electrolyte. <P>SOLUTION: The gel-form composition comprises (1) 0.2 to 2 mass% of a glycoside of triterpenic acid or its salt, (2) 1 to 4 mass% of citric acid and/or its salt. As a glycoside of the triterpenic acid, preferably cited is glycyrrhizic acid because this substance is transparent.
