<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce image defects caused by spherical projections or the like formed in a manufacturing process of an a-si photosensitive drum. <P>SOLUTION: In a tandem type image forming apparatus, portions on which white dots are generated due to spherical protrusions or the like formed on the photosensitive drum in an image forming station of a certain color are complemented so that the white dots are made inconspicuous by other colors. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
