PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve an image evaluating method for appropriately evaluating image information. SOLUTION: The method comprises a step of individually evaluating one item selected from a plurality of items as a prescribed item to obtain an individual evaluation for acquired image information; a step of individually evaluating another item as an other prescribed item to obtain another individual evaluation; a step of obtaining a total evaluation by using Gaussian function on the basis of these individual evaluation and other individual evaluation; and an evaluation adding step of adding the individual evaluation, other individual evaluation and the total evaluation to the acquired image information.
