PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air pressure type liquid level detection system which can be used for a long term even using an inexpensive pump and simplify a control circuit by considering the influence of a pressure loss. SOLUTION: The air pressure type liquid level detection system feeds air with a constant pressure into a tank through an air supply pipe by operating a pump at a constant cycle, measures the back pressure within the air supply pipe within the operation time to calculate and display a liquid level, stores a pressure detected at the time of suspension of the pump after a lapse of a fluctuation period immediately after a lapse of the operation time as a standard value, and corrects the displayed liquid level by reoperating the pump for a predetermined operation time even within a time of the constant cycle in accordance with detection in which a pressure measured thereafter has been changed with respect to the standard value.
