PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an examination management system which can be operated preferably and provide reference to a result without interrupting and resuming an examination and without caring about the relationship between examinations before and after an interruption. SOLUTION: An event processing section 285 carries out operations, such as interruption processing or termination processing of an examination, transmission of a status to an external system or the like, in accordance with an event processing rule stored in a memory section 283 corresponds to a determined examination form and a received trigger event. With such a configuration, an operator can perform examination operations without caring about interruption or resumption of an examination. In addition, even an interrupted examination divided into a plurality of items and carried out before and after a temporal interruption can be managed as one examination in an examination result reference, an examination table or the like.
