The invention concerns a method for making a material-shaping tool, in particular by hot pressing or injection moulding. The tool has an integral assembly of sections mutually adjacent along junction surfaces. Grooves provided in the junction surfaces and passages provided through the sections define a circuit for circulating a heating medium. Each section can be designed and produced, for example, by molding or machining in a block of heat-conducting material, so as to ensure an optimal configuration of the heating medium circuit. |
