The device has a cushion (24) with cover (18) whereby two air-conditioning zones (50,52) are provided at the surface facing the user with an oblong recess between zones. Air-conditioning zones and recess are connected to each other by a connecting device (32) for air penetration. The recess allows the air to pass through it partially in transverse direction inspite of cover.
