The lamp has a glass jacket through which light is irradiated. The light is irradiated over a sunlight spectrum and the glass jacket is filled with an electrically excitable inert gas. The glass of the jacket is in depletion of mineral salt. The electrically excitable inert gas is provided with an additional double bond extended molecular chains. The gas exhibit radiation in vitamin-D forming spectral region. An independent claim is also included for an application of the operative lamp in e.g. work area, for providing e.g. anti-rheumatic therapy.
