The present invention relates to a catalyst for olefin polymerization, which contains reaction products of the following components: (A) solid titanium-containing catalyst component comprising magnesium, titanium and halogen as essential ingredients; (B) organoaluminum compound catalyst component, and (C) siloxane compound catalyst component represented by the following general formula: (1) in which, R1<SUP>-</SUP> R12 and A are defined as in the description.
