<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of members of an apparatus , also, to protect a photoreceptor at jamming processing or the like, and also, to smoothly carry a paper. <P>SOLUTION: A transfer unit 2 is attached to a housing 1 so that the unit 2 can be open/closed, and a carrying path for passing the paper P through the photoreceptor 3 and a transfer roller 84 is formed between the housing 1 and the transfer unit 2. By opening/closing the transfer unit 2, the photoreceptor 3 and the transfer roller 84 shift so as to separate from each other or come into contact with or close to each other. In a state where the transfer unit 2 is closed, a cover member 4 shifts to a guide position for guiding the paper passing through the carrying path, on the other hand, in a state that the transfer unit 2 is opened and the carrying path is opened, the cover member 4 shifts to a protecting position of covering the exposed part of the photoreceptor 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
