<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for heating solid ingredients by which solid food charged in a container can be evenly, uniformly and efficiently heated in a short time to speed up a manufacturing line, and steam dew formation on the seal surface of a flange is prevented to improve the sealing property of the container. <P>SOLUTION: The method for heating solid ingredients 18 charged in a container via heating media before sealing the container comprises the following process: covering the opening part of a container 15 filled with solid ingredient with a chamber body 21 for every individual container to form a hermetically sealed space; injecting the heating media to the vicinity of the inner wall surface of the container opening through an injection port disposed at the upper part of the chamber body so as to generate a flow so that the heating media is passed through the inside part of the container; making the heating media get in contact with the ingredients to exchange heat with the ingredients; and discharging the heating media from a drainage outlet disposed at a chamber body far from the injection port so as to evenly heat the ingredient in a short time for sterilization. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
