<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer printing only a desired page of a book without the need for placing the book on an original platen again while turning over pages. <P>SOLUTION: The printer connected to a database for storing an identification code of a print object and electronic data of the print object in cross-reference with each other, is characterized by including: an identification code read means for reading the identification code of the print object; a page designation means for designating all pages of the print object or part of the print object pages; an acquisition means for acquiring the electronic data in cross-reference with the identification code from the database by the designated pages only; and a printing means for printing the acquired electronic data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
