<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide magnetic power for compressed molding magnet ensuring higher coersive force and reduction in fluctuation of magnetic density even in the long-length magnet. <P>SOLUTION: The magnetic powder for compressed molding magnet 10A, constituted with non-angled magnetic particle 1 of the average gain size of 100 to 200 μm, is assumed to be adjusted in its volume density to 3.3 g/cm<SP>3</SP>to 4.0 g/cm<SP>3</SP>. The magnetic particle 10A for compressed molding magnet adjusted in its volume density to 3.3 g/cm<SP>3</SP>to 4.0 g/cm<SP>3</SP>is formed with collision of the angled magnetic particles, or with collision of the angled magnetic particle and the particle constituted with a substance which is harder than the angled magnetic particle.
