ABSORBING LIQUID AND APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR REMOVING CARBON DIOXIDE OR HYDROGEN SULFIDE IN GAS BY USING ABSORBING LIQUID

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbing liquid by which either one or both of CO2or/and H2S incorporated in a gas can be removed in a compact and energy-saving recovery unit and to provide an apparatus and a method for removing either one or both of CO2or/and H2S by using the absorbing liquid.

SOLUTION: This absorbing liquid for absorbing either or both of CO2and H2S incorporated in the gas contains alkanolamine as a first component and a second component consisting of a nitrogen compound having two or all of a primary nitrogen atom, a secondary nitrogen atom and a tertiary nitrogen atom in the molecule. As a result, this absorbing liquid can exhibit excellent performance when the absorption capacity and heat of absorption of this absorbing liquid are compared with those of a single aqueous solution of the alkanolamine or nitrogen compound having the same concentration by weight as this absorbing liquid and can recover either or both of CO2and H2S incorporated in the gas with low energy.
