<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system which can virtually unify and provide storage resources of a plurality of file servers distributed among sites from a plurality of clients installed at the respective sites. <P>SOLUTION: Each of the plurality of sites connected mutually through a wide area network 2 or the like is provided with a switch device 200 which is logically disposed between at least one client 100 and at least one server 300 having a storage device 4, and provides file access by virtually unifying a plurality of storage devices for a client; and an analysis device 400 connected to the switch device 200. The switch device 200 obtains log information on file access from the client 100. The analysis device 400, on the basis of the log information on file access, decides data for migration to a server of a site that the client belongs to or an adjacent site, and instructs the switch device 200 to migrate the data.
