<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display controller which is low-power-consumption and can separately rotate the vertical direction of images for display and the vertical direction of images for compression, and also to provide an electronic apparatus and an image data supply method. <P>SOLUTION: The display controller 10 includes: an image memory 20; a first rotation processor 30 which rotates the vertical direction of images of image data by a first rotating angle and writes the image data after the first rotation processing into the image memory 20; a second rotation processor 40 which rotates the vertical direction of images of the image data stored in the image memory 20 by a second rotating angle and reads out the image data after the second rotation processing from the image memory 20; and a compression processor 50 which compresses the image data. It supplies image data which is read from the image memory 20 to a display driver without performing the second rotation processing and also supplies the image data after the second rotation processing to the compressing processor 50. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
