PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position adjuster which stretches a sealing film without causing the rupture of the sealing film, and adjusts the position of the sealing film so as to match the position of patterns formed on the sealing film to a given position on a container film at high precision. SOLUTION: According to the position adjuster, (d) when a stretch sensor 51 detects a mark on the sealing film, a position detecting encoder 53 puts out position information A. (e, j) The stretch coefficient G of the sealing film is calculated from a differential between the position information A and an upstream side target position Q. (f) When a stretch sensor 52 detects a mark on the sealing film, the position detecting encoder 53 puts out position information B. (g, h) A feedback volume is calculated from a differential between the position information B and a downstream side target position P. (i) By correcting the upstream side target position Q, (j) the stretch coefficient G is corrected. A stretch servo motor 64 is controlled using the stretch coefficient G.
