摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in a downright lighting device used for a large-screen liquid crystal display that a floating capacity exists between a fluorescent tube and a metal case, increasing in inverse proportion to a distance between them, which results in unevenness in brightness of the fluorescent tube caused by leak of current flowing in the fluorescent tube leaking into the metal case through the floating capacity and ensuing brightness unevenness of the lighting device. SOLUTION: By raising a height of a fluorescent tube holder higher than a fluorescent tube support frame, a distance between the fluorescent tube and the metal case is secured by more than a constant value, which decreases leak current to reduce the brightness unevenness.
