PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal capable of acquiring required map information suitably according to a situation. SOLUTION: The portable terminal has a function of grasping a present position and a function of displaying a map. The portable terminal has a map switch determining means 10 having a function of determining entry into a facility by receiving in-facility map information from an in-facility information transmitting device for transmitting the in-facility map information showing the inside of the facility and a function of detecting the entry into the facility and switching the displayed map from circumference map information showing the circumference of the present position to the in-facility map information.
