PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a railway vehicle brake disc with a brake disc fastening portion having further improved fatigue reliability while preventing its inconveniences due to fatigue damage even when the braking load is increased with a higher speed. SOLUTION: The brake disc has a sliding portion 2 and the fastening portion 3 on the inner periphery side thereof. A sliding face 2a and a surface 3b and a reverse 3c of the fastening portion 3 are inclined to a counter sliding face side at an angleθof 0.5-3.5°ranging from the radial inside to the outside. The fastening portion 3 has a plurality of fastening holes 3a provided concentrically with the brake disc 1. A differenceδbetween a center position diameter of a chamfer on the sliding face side surface and a center position diameter of the fastening hole 3a is within a range of 0.5d*tanθ<SP>5</SP>*tan(Ψ/2) to 1.5d*tanθ<SP>5</SP>*tan(Ψ/2), whereΨis a chamfer angle, d is the inner diameter of the fastening hole, and C is an average value for a chamfer amount.
